I was extremely happy with the job Derrick did. One of the St. Stephen ‘locals’ suggested him when I asked who would be a good person to paint the outside of the house I just purchased. It was a bit rough looking since it was a foreclosure. After Derrick was done (including fighting the wasps and the weather) the house was transformed! Derek did a great job on our old farm house. We took wallpaper down and had lots of repairs that had to be made to the plaster before he could even paint. You can’t even tell the walls were so damaged. He did a fantastic job!
We purchased our home from my husband's parents. It was built in the early 1970's and EVERY room had wallpaper from floor to ceiling. Derrick has been our painter for the past 10 years as we have slowly remodeled the house room by room. He has done several projects for us. He is always clear and honest about the price of a job, he is reliable, honest and hard working. Once we had to hire a different painter due to Derrick's busy schedule and our own timeline. The replacement painter we found came highly recommended, but he was not as neat, not as precise, and did not really care about our home and our project like Derrick does. NEVER AGAIN will we hire someone else!
Derrick Nelson completely painted – top to bottom -- our new home late fall 2017. One of the things I appreciated the most was he cleaned up after himself as he moved from section to section, so we could move in and then live there as he was continuing the job. He was priced fairly, was accommodating to our crazy schedule of emptying out our former home and moving in while he painted, and very personable. His schedule was flexible around our schedule, which made this part of the move stress-free. On top of all of this, he was an excellent painter – meticulous in his work. No slops, drops, smears – BEST.JOB.EVER!
Derrick Nelson has come to our house numerous times in the pass to paint inside rooms of our house. He does a wonderful job, he is professional, and cleans everything up when he is done. We moved to another state and both myself and my husband have said, no one can paint like Derrick can.
